When he said he looked like a soc Cherry started laughing. “Oh suck it up! Lookin’ like a Soc can’t be that bad!” Now come on, show me your outfit!”
“Well, i recon your dad will approve, for sure.” He stepped out, put his hands on his hips and smiled. “Whatta ya think?”
Cherry smiled, “Wow, you look great!!” Truth was she thought he looked really attractive but tried to hide it as best as she could.
“So, do you like it?!”
He did a spin and winked at her. “Yeah, it’s not tuff, but your dad’l think its flash so its good.” He smiled. “Thanks Cher.”
Cherry walked over to him and gave him a hug. “Don’t mention it, Hey while we are here do you mind if I look for a dress? I need a new one!” She smiled.
He laughed. “If you wait for me to get changed, i’ll find one for ya!” He laughed and disappeared back into the changing room. “Whatta ya need a new dress for anyway?”
Cherry smiled unsure if letting Soda pick out a dress for her was a good idea, but she went with it.
“Well, i was thinking of something like this,” She pointed to a dress (http://tinyurl.com/82oanxp) “So, do you think it would look good on me Soda?”
Soda stood there and stared at the dress cherry had pointed out. “That would look beautiful.” He grinned. “But where are you gonna wear it?” Soda winked and laughed
Cherry looked at the dress then back at Sodapop. “Thanks,” She said shyly.
“And I was thinking of wearing it to my prom! But nobody has asked me yet.” She said with an awkward laughed
Soda looked at her and smiled. “Shoot, im sure you of all people would have no trouble gettin a date to the prom.” He laughed. “I didn’t even know y’all got a prom.” He smiled, remembering the crowded hallways of the School.
Cherry giggled “Things are not always what they seem,” She smiled. “Ya’ I miss seeing you at school,”
“yeah, i kinda miss bein there, ya know?” He sighed and looked at Cherry. “WELL!! Go try it on?!” He laughed.
Cherry smiled and left to the change rooms. She put on the dress and looked in the mirror. she thought it looked real good on her. “Ready soda?” She said and stepped out of the change room.
“Ready!” He said enthusiastically. He couldn’t wait to see her in the dress. He was just sure it would look amazing.
